Britney Jaen Spears (this is her real name) born on the 2nd of December, 1981 in Kentwood, Louisiana, Britney Spears made it big in 1998 with the release of her first album "Baby One More Time." As a Senior in High School, she became the youngest person ever to sell 9 million copies of an album. 

In 1999 Britney Spears fought rumors of breast implants and was named one of People's 50 most beautiful people. She hopes to make an appearance on "Dawson's Creek" and several other shows.

Britney started her artistic career really soon, she was only 8 when travelling to Atlanta, she made an audition for the Disney Channel's Mickey Mouse Club (MMC). Even if she was considered too young for the show,one of the producers, considering little Britney a talented girl, helped her spotted her to get an agent in New York. 

Here she studied at the off-Broadway Dance Center and at the Professional Performing Arts School and the course ended with a part in the off-Broadway production Ruthless. When she was 11 she was able to work for MMC. Then at the age of 15 she was helped by a producer who had worked with Boyzone, Hi-Five, and Whitney Houston. It seemed a perfect fit, given Spears self-declared musical influences: Madonna, Mariah Carey, Michael Jackson, and Houston. She also traveled to Sweden to work with Max Martin, whose previous clients included the Backstreet Boys, Ace of Base, and Robyn. 

By early 1998, Spears' first album for Jive was complete. But apart from the numerous performances she made along America, the real breackout of this young American girl was January 1999, when she released Baby, One More Time. Britney always wanted to be a worlwide famous star and this is what she really is now; probably next year will be a busy one for her and probably a new a new album will be releised.We are all waiting to hear more about her!
