From ki ageng Mangir (during the time of Panembahan Senapati). Originally it was the lip of a Dragon by the name Baru Klinting. The Pusakas K.K.H. Plered, K.K.H. Baru, K.K.H. Gandawadana during the Garebeg Mulud audience and great audience to the sultan (Pasewakan Agung) are placed in Bangsal WITANA, Siti Hinggil. Pusakas in the form of Flags
These Pusakas during Garebeg Mulud procession are brought by KATANGGUNG soldiers. In the form of a short sword during the Gerebeg Mulud procession, this Pusaka is brought by Ketanggung soldiers, inside a golden box. Pusakas in the form of Bende (smaller gongs)
These pusakas are used to give more spirit and courage to the soldiers during a war. During Garebeg Procession they are brought by Mantrilebet Soldiers (hold by special CINDE clothes, under golden umbrellas). In the form of a whip. Used by Sri Sultan Hamengkubuwono I during his struggle in the slope of mountain Merapi. In the form of a Drum. It was used during the struggle of Prince Sambernyowo/K.G.P.AA Mangkunagara I, started in Mangadeg area. The sound of the Tambur could give image that Prince Sambernyowo’s troop was much bigger then the reality. So it discouraged the enemy. In the form of: looks like a coconut In the form of: a BENDE (smaller Gong). It was used to jeopardize the Dutch colonial forces (KUMPENI) by Prince Sambernjowo, who personally led the war. In the form of: Dandang, large metal vessel for steaming rice. Both big rice-cookers were used by Prince Sambernjowo’s troop to cook rice during the war. The dandangs were magical. They could supply all necessary rice to be consumed by all Prince Sambernjowo’s warrious and folowers, even in the large amount. The dandang would not empty until everybody had taken enough rice. Some Pusakas of Puro Mangkunagaran are placed in the village of Nglaroh, Selagiri, Wonogiri. The names are:
